Recommended Readings

Where to get electronic components:

  • You can scavenge toys and old appliances for buttons, sensors, speakers, etc.
  • Some sensors you can build yourself. Crude force-sensitive resistors (FSRs), for example, can be made with a piece of conductive foam and some wire mesh.
  • Sparkfun
  • Jameco
  • Digikey
